Prices with a
traceable source.

Daily observed eBay sold prices, with current asking prices in a separate sample. Data through 2026-10-22.

What is collected

Each catalog reference has one daily sold query over a 90- or 365-day window. Daily queries now request up to 1,000 records; most of the first collection used a 200-record cap. Our filter requires the reference token, brand, USD price and a valid sale date inside that window. It rejects placeholder titles, prices outside the reference’s band, replica and custom/aftermarket listings. This is an observed sample, not a census of every sale.

What a reference includes

The base reference can include multiple dials, conditions and sets. Some Patek Philippe base references also combine material variants; those pages state that scope. A median describes that sample. The 25th to 75th percentiles describe its middle half.

Dates and history

“Data through” means the newest qualifying sale. “Collection checked” records the execution date. A failed or empty query does not invent a current sold estimate. Daily medians are calculated from recorded sale dates; historical observations remain stored as the current query window moves forward.

Asking prices and photos

The eBay Browse API provides a separate sample of live asking prices. The asking-versus-sold spread is a difference between those two samples, not a guaranteed discount. Representative listing photos come from a qualifying sold or live listing. Every reference photo links to its eBay source. Dial, material, condition and accessories can vary.

Comparisons and low-price signals

30- and 90-day changes compare medians of daily medians in seven-day periods. Both periods require at least three observed dates and five sales. A low-price signal needs a 90-day sample of at least 20 sales and at least three sales on the latest observed date. See the movers, returns and index calculation pages for their exact rules.
